Detailed description	Over time: check that each supplier has produced images which conform to the specification check that post-processing has been applied consistently (potential further problem - inconsistency in the source material - non-uniform photographs differ significantly from each other) check that metadata fields in the image are populated - identifiers, correct correlation to physical properties Between suppliers: check that each supplier has conformed to the specification (resolution, bit-depth, colour-space, etc.) check that post-processing has been performed consistently - use of same processes, same bounds for applying e.g. level balance check that metadata fields in the image are populated - identifiers, correct correlation to physical properties
