Introduction

This is the initial page for things related to FIDO2 development.

FIDO2 will be the successor to Fido, the open source file format identification tool of the OPF. The current version of FIDO (v1.x.x-x) functions as a script, whereas FIDO2 will become an API.

Add multi-threading / multi-processing

Match each pattern only once per file

Refactor code to Python 3.x

Improved identification of XML using XMP parser
