Description	1,000000+ digitised newspaper pages from the 19th century. TIFF master files cropped TIFFs. ALTO XML and METS XML. Derived JPEG2000.
Licensing	Access to images via http://newspapers.bl.uk/blcs/ . On-site at BL, or HE institutions can also access the collection remotely free of charge. Others remotely by subscription.

Issues brainstorm	A sample page showing 'shifted crop' of artefacts in the image that should not be there. Need to be able to identify which files in a set have been affected by this problem. Screen shot showing a TIFF and the corresponding JPEG2000 derived from it side by side, the JPEG2000 image appears to have been truncated and looks 'fuzzy' in parts to the naked eye. Need to be able to identify which files have been affected by this problem.
