Head of finance
IT directors / managers
Heads of department
Researchers (professors, fellows, PhDs)
Project officers or departmental managers
Lecturers
Library directors / senior managers
Library managers / team leaders

Acquisitions / cataloguing

List your stakeholders in the table below
The list above should give you a starting point, but note that this is not an exhaustive list - think about stakeholders at your institution

Stakeholder	Interest/stake
Funding bodies	eg: JISC, AHRC, English Heritage. This is where we get some of our money from - to preserve data that they have funded the research for
Data depositors	eg: Academics, archaeological contractors and local government archaeologists. Again, these are the people we get money from to preserve their data
Data Consumers	eg: Academics, archaeological contractors, students, members of the public. These are the people who use the data that we archive and disseminate
Vice Chancellor	Useful to keep Vice Chancellor on side. If we do good work it benefits the reputation of the University as a whole. See Queen's Anniversary Prize which York University Department of Archaeology was awarded this year - ADS had a big part to play in this application
Head of Department	Currently Head of Department of Archaeology is also the Director of the ADS but this won't be the case as of later this year
