You wouldn’t believe some of the amazing digital content we have, from 3D models of the Terracotta roundels, high resolution photography of Queen Anne’s bed, to videos of conservation work on the Queens Staircase. It provides a fantastic record of the condition of the decorative fabric of the palace and the collection we are responsible for and care for. But it’s also content we want to add to, develop, and re-use within the organisation --and its not just for conservation either; Learning can use 3D models as teaching tools for example. But we need some resource to ensure that we can look after and care for this content, just like we look after the Palaces and the collections. Without this we cannot encourage staff to see the value in caring for digital material, nor can we enable them to exploit the content for all sorts of creative activities.Aimed at: Director
