This elevator pitch is aimed at the Agent (Chief Exec) for Northumberland Estates.

Hi. I’m Chris Fryer, the new guy, and I’m Digital Curator for the Estates.

You’re probably wondering what digital curation is. Well, we have traditionally been very good at preserving our paper records. But what about all the digital records that we are currently producing?

That’s where I come in – if we want to continue to protect the Estates property then we need to invest in a small amount of resources and expertise now. This will result in significant benefits in the future. The implementation of a digital repository would safeguard critical digital assets and maintain the Northumberland Estates reputation as a cutting edge leader in our sector.
