PG Qualification in Digital Media Management

Hi! My name is Toni Sant. I work at the University of Hull's Scarborough Campus where we're about to launch a new suite of postgraduate courses in Digital Media Management. The initial focus will be in digital curation, with an emphasis on digital preservation. The main programme is an MA over three semesters, but you can also do a PG Certificate in one semester or a PG Diploma over two semesters. Each of these qualification is also achievable over a longer period of time, if part-time study is what you prefer. We already have a growing number of PhD students working in this area so there's a very vibrant environment for this sort of study in Scarborough. Unlike other similar courses in the UK that focus mainly on the technical aspects of digital curation, or others building on arts management and curation, our courses offer a healthy balance between the technology and its application in professional situations. If you're looking for formal qualification in this area, particularly if you're interested in skilling up on the latest developments in preservation standards, then please consider one of our courses.
