Collection, management, cataloguing and preservation of digital content

This is a very broad overview of digital preservation activities of the National Library of Scotland which is charged with collecting and preserving items, including digital formats. In April 2012 the NLS underwent restructuring which affects all work which the Library performs but which reflects the increasing amount of digital ingest.
