Travel information

By Train:

Freiburg is conveniently located at the main north-south route. There is good fast train service from most of the neighbouring countries.

By Plane:

EuroAirport Basel-Mulhouse-Freiburg (BSL) http://www.euroairport.com/ is serviced by all major airlines and Easy-Jet. There are two options to get to Freiburg:

1.) An hourly bus-service to Freiburg main (train) station. Timetable is here:

Remarks:

• AFAIK tickets can only be bought in cash when entering the bus.
• Take the exit to France/EU

2.) (half-)ourly train-service from Basel SBB train station. Exit to Switzerland, take bus No. 50 to SBB.

If you have to go through a major airport Frankfurt Main is the best option. Hourly fast train service to Freiburg directly from the terminal. Do *not* use Frankfurt Hahn!

Even though Stuttgart seems close, it is conveniently reachable with public transportation.
